Our experts like to share what they know to help fellow collectors and investors find the collectibles they are most interested in adding to their collection, at prices that provide a comfortable start to a long-term investment.

We invite you to explore beyond the product pages with collectible coins, bullion and paper money for sale to find resources that will help you in the purchase process as you expand your coins collection.

Folders and Books For Purchasing and Collecting Coins

Coin folders and books don't just keep your collection organized. They are also a great resource for helping you determine which coins to collect next and provide a way of gauging how complete your collection is at the moment. The latter is an important factor for anyone who is thinking about selling their entire collection. Coin-by-coin, sets are typically more valuable when they are complete compared to the valuation of sets with a few items missing, usually the most sought after and rare dates of the series.

We offer a great selection of coin collecting books and folders that all collectors can afford. There are options for Whitman Harris Kennedy half dollars, dimes, quarters and coins of various denominations.

Folders are a resource that come highly recommended by expert collectors for the organization alone. Plus, you'll have peace of mind knowing coins are safely stored and organized.

Rare Coin Appraisals

Many coins are worth far more than their face value, but determining an exact worth can be difficult for collectors. If you are in search of a professional coin grading service, Great Southern Coins can be of assistance.

We offer rare coins appraisals that can be initiated online. You can bring the coin into our store in-person or mail the coin to our business for review. We'll then carefully examine the coin paying close attention to its:

Condition and quality

Authenticity

Date / Year

Historical significance

Connection to current market trends

Number available / rarity

You'll receive a written appraisal that outlines how the value was determined. Our appraisals can be used prior to obtaining certification through the PCGS or NGC, or you can get a coin appraised post-certification to then prove fair market value and competitive prices.

Our appraisal fee is $125/hour with a minimum of 1 hour, OR 10% of the total appraisal value, whichever is higher.
